Marc has been wrongfully incarcerated by the South Dakota justice system after trying to protect himself from being runned down by a US government truck on his own property. In violation of the rights guaranteed under the US Constitution, he is barred from contact with his family and prison authorities refuse to disclose his location to them.

Please consider signing the petition that would urge the US government to take action against this and the many other injustices that have been inflicted upon Native Americans.

My nephew, Steve House, has squamous cell cancer. He is finishing his 2nd (of 3) 4-week courses of chemo which is an exceptionally strong dose and it is really causing havoc with his body & health. He had cryosurgery about 2 months ago and his neck and shoulder muscles have contracted, causing him extreme pain. He has a lot of difficulty sleeping and pretty much sleeps out of a recliner. I spoke with my brother, Wakinyan Sna Mani, Sr. this afternoon. As you know, he recently underwent heart surgery to place new stents inside his chest. He is still recovering from both surgeries.

In order to avoid a stroke, he will now be undergoing brain surgery to remove an aneurysm on May 14th. He is asking once again for your prayers.

Because the life of a medicine person is wholly dedicated to selflessly serving others, the physical body oftentimes wears much more quickly. Add to that, the harsh conditions of living on Pine Ridge Reservation, we can understand the need for constant prayer.

Wopila, for your prayers on behalf of Wakinyan, his family and his entire medical team.

Update on Wakinyan Sna Mani

Chief Wakinyan Sna Mani is doing very well and resting in Rapids City, S.D. following his heart surgery on March 20th.

He asked me to give everyone a great big, "Wopila AHO" (Many Thanks) for all of the prayers and Reiki energy that was sent to him, and is still coming his way.

Reiki for Amanda and Baby

I am requesting prayers for my granddaughter, Amanda and her husband Dan. They are expecting and Amanda had an ultra sound this week. Doctors found that the baby's brain stem is not developed and actually pulling the brain to the back of the head. Although baby's heart is strong, doctors have told Amanda and Dan that the baby will die as soon as it is born. They are advising termination of the pregnancy, now. Amanda is devestated. Please pray for them to have the strength they need.

Hi dear friends,
I am asking all of you who believe in the power of prayer to send some healing prayers toward my little Polish grandbabe Maks. He has had ongoing skin problems since birth, but they have escalated to the point of hospitilization tonight in his new home, Warsaw, Poland His skin is covered with a rash that bleeds, his white count is elevated and he is now in fever. No treatments so far have helped this little 3 1/2 month old and he is in incredible pain. He seems to have some allergies/immune problems that have been very difficult to diagnose and as of tonight , he is isolated in the hospital - a place that sounds like something from the 1900's. Needless to say, I am very worried about him and my son and daughter in law as they struggle to help their first baby.

I am sending a plea for prayers from all those who I know and love and hope you will send healing thoughts and prayers to little Maks VanAntwerp. I am so far away from him and can only help him through what I know - prayer. If you know anyone who believes in the power of prayer - please ask for their help as well.

Love to you all - and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
